What is the Hexagon Map?​

The game world is divided into hexagonal territories, each representing a unique challenge location. This system creates:

  • Uniform Coverage - No gaps between territories
  • Six Neighbors - Each hex connects to six others
  • Strategic Choices - Plan your exploration route
  • Visual Clarity - Easy to understand at a glance

Accessing the Map​

From Home Page​

  1. Tap the "Map" button on the home page
  2. Or use the Map icon in the bottom navigation

Map View Features​

Visual Elements:

  • Hexagon Grid - All visible territories
  • Color Coding - Status indicators
  • Selection Highlight - Tap to select a territory
  • Zoom/Pan - Navigate the map (if interactive)

Hexagon States​

Each territory has a status that determines its availability:

🔓 Available (Unlocked)​

Visual: Normal color, selectable

  • Ready to play
  • Tap to view details
  • Challenge intro accessible
  • Can be played immediately

How to Unlock:

  • Complete neighboring territories
  • Progress through the story
  • Some start unlocked

✅ Completed​

Visual: Checkmark or special color

  • Challenge finished at least once
  • Score recorded
  • Coins already earned
  • Can replay for better score

Benefits:

  • Contributes to completion percentage
  • May unlock adjacent territories
  • Progress toward narrative milestones

🔒 Locked​

Visual: Grayed out or locked icon

  • Not yet accessible
  • Prerequisites not met
  • May require story progression
  • Adjacent territory completion needed

Unlock Requirements:

  • Complete specific territories
  • Reach narrative checkpoints
  • Collect required fragments (some cases)

When you tap a hexagon:
